Abbott Consulting make Bright Ideas TV program

Abbott Consulting are delighted to have been involved in the making of the Bank of Ireland Bright Ideas Challenge program. Abbott Consulting were asked to participate due to their wide range of expertise which ensured that strategic expert advice would be available across the full IT spectrum.

The startegic team from Abbott Consulting provided IT mentorship on a wide range of topics for the four finalists in the competition. The team at Abbott Consulting wish all the finalists, Eventovate, RendezVu, ResourceKraft and Sonru every success for the future and we are confident that all of them will go on to enjoy international success.

The program will be aired on the City Channel and Channel South during the month of April.

John Abbott joins board of EuroCloud Ireland

John Abbott (Managing Director of Abbott Consulting) has joined the board of EuroCloud Ireland.

EuroCloud Ireland was formed on the 1st Feb 2010 and forms part of the first European network of cloud computing communities. EuroCloud has currently been launched in 15 other European countries and is expected to be in all 27 EU states by the end of 2010.

EuroCloud Ireland aims to be a leading representitive body in Ireland for the cloud computing community as a whole while working with the public to enhance its understanding of the role, capabilities and importance of cloud technologies. EuroCloud Ireland hopes to ensure a greater take up of cloud technologies in Ireland which in turn will improve Ireland's position as one of the world's leading smart economies.
